In this video we witnessed the historical event of Assyrians, and the Assyrian Church of the East (ACOE), reestablishing its Patriarchal headquarters in the homeland! History: Assyrians are the indigenous people of modern day countries of Iraq, Iran, Turkey, and Syria; as Assyria once existed amongst these borders. Going to Iraq, the homeland of our ancestors, is a big deal, especially for those of us in the diaspora, as we are able to see where our lineage comes from.
