But once you cross the dirt road and see the cedar forest that surrounds the beach, you’ll understand why it’s so special. Its name comes from the Greek words kedros (cedar) and dasos (forest), perfectly describing this rare coastal landscape.

Covering almost 27 acres, the cedar forest meets the shoreline and creates a setting that feels worlds away. For windsurfers 🏄‍♂️, the long sandy stretch is also ideal.
