Recently, I taught a STEM infused lesson about the holographic displays generated through the Kimoyo bracelets worn by the people of Wakanda in Black Panther. In the movie, the AV bead on the Kimoyo bracelet allowed Shuri (Letitia Wright) to alter holograms proportionally according to scale factor.

Since these bracelets technically do not exist😉, my students used scale factor, proportions, and the coordinate plane to create trapezoidal pyramids which helped to display the hologram-like images.
