DESCRIPTION:
Super Mario 3D World was a fun game. A bit on the generic side, but still a lot of fun. But I do agree with Klagmar when he says that the most innovative thing about this game is the music, because it totally is. Instead of having more rehashed rearrangements of older Mario music just to appeal to the nostalgia factor, most of the soundtrack is entirely original tunes.

Even though it still does have a few rearrangements here and there, you could argue it's there for the sake of tradition, and more importantly, it doesn't distract from the new pieces this soundtrack has to offer. This track serves as a fine example, and is probably my favourite track in the game. That echoing wind instrument at the start always gets me into the musical mood everytime.
