In this game Rallen and Jeena fall into a portal that seems to be one-way and get stuck in the Kaio system for the period of their first console journey and last game in the series. Spectrobes: Origins is the unfortunate ending to the Spectrobes series, never fully wrapping up the story of the series, but ending just well enough that you don't need to think about it too hard.

Released in 2009 on the Wii, and it fossilized there.
