'Singing in the Rain' - RoboThespian at Oxford Brookes University

Fully interactive, life-size humanoid robot, RoboThespian greets visitors at our postgraduate open event and then entertains them with a rendition of 'Singing in the rain'.

We are opening a new Cognitive Robotics Laboratory in the autumn of 2013. The laboratory will encompass research in human-robot interaction, autonomous vehicles and bio-inspired robotics. One of the first robots in the lab will be RoboThespian, a life-size humanoid robot that is fully interactive, multilingual and user-friendly.

RoboThespian is a powerful and versatile research platform that comes with a wide range of tools making it accessible to novices and useful for cutting edge research in human-robot interaction.
