The Temple of Heaven is located in Dongcheng District, Beijing, China. It was the exclusive altar for emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to worship Heaven and pray for good harvests. The Temple of Heaven was first built in the 18th year of the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty (1420), covering an area of about 273 hectares. It consists of major buildings such as the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, the Circular Mound Altar, and the Imperial Vault of Heaven. The layout of the Temple of Heaven complex is rigorous and the design exquisite, fully reflecting the essence of ancient Chinese architectural art and the philosophy of the harmony between heaven and man. In 1998, the Temple of Heaven was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is an important historical and cultural landmark and tourist attraction in China.

天壇位於中國北京市東城區，是明清兩代皇帝祭天、祈穀的專用祭壇。天壇始建於明永樂十八年（1420年），佔地約273公頃，由祈年殿、圜丘壇、皇穹宇等主要建築組成。天壇建築群佈局嚴謹，設計精巧，充分體現了中國古代建築藝術的精華和天人合一的哲學思想。1998年，天壇被列入聯合國教科文組織的世界文化遺產名錄，是中國重要的歷史文化名勝和旅遊景點。
