Why should you not become a Data Engineer if you are in college?

In this video, I have put down my thoughts on one specific question i.e. Why one should not become a Data Engineer if you are in college.

I have put down multiple reasons for it. Some of them are as follows.

1). Courses offered by the college are good too and one should devote an equal amount of time to those. Some of the important courses are Data Structure & Algorithm, DBMS, Operating System, Computer Network, etc.

2). If you are in college then your focus should be more on developing your basics like SQL and DSA.

3). You should learn good software design like TDD(Test Driven Development), Unit test, Git, Unix, CI/CD, VIM, Nano, Docker, etc.

4). Learn to debug any codebase, and try to work on some open source if you have time.

4). Work on your communication skills.

5). Enjoy your college life.

There are multiple other reasons which according to me convey that one should not worry about a specific domain. Explore the world of software & you will find your interesting field.
