In this episode, it’s all hands on deck—literally. With help from my two boys, Michael and Alexey, and their grandfather, we demolish the top skin of the port side deck to reveal a soggy mess of MDF underneath. No treasure, but plenty of work! We prep the area for a proper core replacement using closed-cell foam.

Meanwhile, I patch the old engine exhaust hole on the transom as I prepare to relocate it to the bottom of the hull—one step closer to making Victoria ocean-ready.
