In this video, I explain how to get to a command line from any computer or Internet-connected device, even if you don’t have any kind of command-line access on your device.

We’ll sign up for a Virtual Private Server from Digital Ocean, and then we’ll set it up with the latest version of Ubuntu Linux, including setting up a user name and password for root and user-level access.

Once this is done, you can use this server for all your command-line and text-based software (as well as many fun server things we may cover at a later time).
