So essentially, for the people who have not read the trilogy, it is a series of three books that is a separate (but still canon in its own way) universe that features 17-18 y/o Charlie Emily and her friends John, Jessica, Carlton, Marla and (in the first book) Lamar. Charlie ends up being swallowed by a twisted animatronic at the end of book 2 and “comes back” as the one dressed in red. That is actually Elizabeth pretending to be Charlie. We later find out that Charlie died at the age of 3, and her father repetitively made advanced robots in her image.
