The world is in need of peace right now. I took time out to find solitude at a local nature reservoir where up to 40,000 ducks, swans, and geese visit each year. I arrived an hour before sunset and set up my camera by the shore of the reservoir, watching the birds as the Sun sank lower overhead. The sky turned golden as the Sun edged towards the horizon, which was reflected in the water below. After the sun had set, the blue hour commenced with pastel hues in the sky, bringing a peaceful end to the evening.

Landscape photography in this video was focused on the colours in the sky reflecting in the water below, leading to a calm, minimal style to the photos.
