this was an extremely difficult video for me to film and edit especially after returning home from my 3 week long trip. coco and millie lived for 17 years and passed due to a decline in health as a result of their old age. they were the best puppers a girl could ever ask for.

i've had them since I was 8 years old, but over the past two years working from home, I became especially attached to them— they were with me every moment of every day. losing them has been incredibly difficult. their constant presence became a source of comfort as I navigated a challenging period in my life, having moved back home from NYC after a layoff, unsure of what would come next. they were there quietly supporting me as I filmed and uploaded my very first YouTube video. moreover, they were there for me growing up from elementary, middle, high school, college, and now my professional career. they were there for everything!

in my most recent video, you can even hear Millie drinking water in the background, a small familiar sound that now means everything. i had filmed this video the day before i flew out to chicago and it was one of the last moments i had with her in hindsight. knowing I’ll never feel, see, or hear them again is a loss that’s been profoundly painful.

my home feels empty without their tippy taps and my heart feels heavy 💔 this was by far the most painful experience i've gone through and for those of you who have lost a pet, know that i am with you. i love you coco & millie 🌈☁️ rip july 26th, 2025
