In this video, Tammy Heflebower and Phil Warrick discuss the theory and practical application of 'The Art and Science of Teaching' how to implement it in the classroom, and how it not only raises the achievement of individuals in the classroom, it also enables teachers to understand their own practice, and where there is room to improve.

Dr. Heflebower holds a bachelor of arts from Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska, a master of arts from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and an educational administrative endorsement from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She also earned a doctor of education in educational administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Tammy has worked in Australia as the key trainer of The Art and Science of Teaching and continues to work with Hawker Brownlow Professional Learning Solutions in developing Australian based trainers of Dr Robert Marzano's work.

Dr Warrick was named 2005 Nebraska State High School Principal of the year, 2004 Nebraska Secondary School Principals Region One Principal of the Year, and 1998 Nebraska Outstanding New Principal of the Year and Nebraska Secondary School Principals Region One Assistant Principal of the Year. Dr Warrick is part of the Australian based Marzano Research Laboratory team working exclusively with Hawker Brownlow Professional Learning Solutions.
