Heart of the Mean City is one of five pieces from Groove Zones 1 is an exciting publication by www.moonhousemusic.com which explores a more 'commercial' sax sound through the various genres in the collection: from Blues, to chill out, Funk, ambient, and more... written and created by Chris Lawry, Jack Lennon, and Keri Degg.

The zones are classified into three groups: street, town, and city, with three difficulty levels being offered for each title (street being the easiest - around grade 2-3, town a little more advanced - around grade 3-5, and city, aimed at more confident players - around grade 5/6+).
