Mohammed Al-Jadaan, the Saudi finance minister, convened with Janet Yellen, the US Secretary of the Treasury, to discuss mutual economic cooperation.
The meeting coincided with the spring meeting of the IMF and the World Bank, as well as the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting, all of which were hosted by Indonesia.
Both also talked about the most important economic issues that have arisen as a result of recent geopolitical conflicts, as well as how the global economy may be bolstered despite the ongoing pandemic's problems.
A few of executives from the Saudi Ministry of Finance and the US Treasury were virtually present at the conference.
