What's up everybody it's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be checking out this Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter. Now you're going to have 15 amps to 30 amps. So what it's going to do, it's going to convert your rig that's 30 amps here, we'll twist it in, plug it in, then you can run an extension cord to your house and plug it in there. That way you can get power while you need to work on the inside, maybe you just want to run the lights, or if you want to get the refrigerator running before your trip. Let's check it out.Now it's going to work with our rig here that has a 30 amp male end.

This is going to be a 30 amp female end. And you can see kind of how to line the prongs up. You got this one that has this extra portion, that's made so it can twist. So let's go ahead and put it in there and then twist it over, and you can see it all ready locked it in so I can't just pull it straight out, which is good because if you've got an extension cord running and somebody trips on it, they won't just pull it out and damage your prongs. Then we have this twisting lock here on the top. You're going to make sure you get it lined up properly, and that's going to seal the connection and kind of weather proof it too so that it can't get in there, it kind of picks up the gaps.

We'll tighten it all the way down, and this protects from any of the elements getting in. You can see this kind of seals the connection around here, the gaps out of it, and it's definitely not coming back out.I'll take my standard extension cord, 15 amps, female in the male end, plug it in like that, and now your rig should have power. So I am in the rig. You can kind of already see the lights are lit up over there. When I flip the switch for the inside lights, it looks like it's working just fine. So this is going to allow you to power it up when you got at home.

Let's say it's parked in your driveway, and like I said earlier, that way you get the refrigerator going. You can start packing it with your stuff, that way everything gets cold before you leave and stays cold by the time you get there. So again, it's really good for maintenance. If you want to work on it in your driveway, you can plug it in. Not just for the refrigerator, but if you want to test the AC unit, if that was something you we're wanting to look at, you can get this all plugged in and run the AC unit and make sure that works. Or just simply having lights while you're working on the inside, it's helpful not having a flashlight looking around what you're doing.

You can plug it in and turn the lights on and it just makes everything easier. The power cord is pretty durable. We have our customers on our website have commented after having it for a whole year saying it works just as good as when they got it. They recommend not leaving outside all the time. You don't want this just hanging out there if you're not plugging in, so they suggest go ahead and storing it inside. It doesn't take up that much space so you can find a cabinet or something to put it in.But also there's some things that you have this extra cord added on there, that way it's not putting all the pressure on here just pulling down. If it was just directly plugged in there, it'd be putting more stress on the outlet. Sometimes when you got just the plugs that go right in, it'll pull down on it or pull back. I like that it has the twist in, so not only do you plug it, twist it, then you have this ring here on the outside that you can further attach it in there, that way it's not coming out. So people can walk by, kick this cord, it's not going to come out. It's going to stay right in there, that way nothing's going to get damaged on either end. The most that'll happen is this will come unplugged and you just plug it right back in. So I think it's going to help you out and work for a really long time. Thanks for hanging out and I hope this helped..
