Lecture 22 is our last to address language. This first segment focuses on gestures. Gestures are a fundamental aspect of language. Without it, people struggle more to find words and to solve problems. Because gestures are so closely tied to language, each language contains its own distinct set of lectures. So English speakers, whether sighted or blind, gesture similarly. And Spanish speakers, whether sighted or blind, gesture similarly to one another but differently from English speakers.
