Left under the scorching sun, the skin would dry and shrink, causing excruciating pressure on the scalp. Over time, the captive would lose their memory, forget their family, past, and identity entirely. With no sense of self or purpose left, they became obedient slaves. This method wasn’t just about physical control—it was a tool for mental domination, stripping people of their roots and turning them into loyal, identity-less servants.
