Spring in Chicago has pretty much felt like an extended winter this year. Most days have either been in the 30F range, or windy, or snowing/raining or all the above. This past weekend the temps at least crept up into the 50F range despite 20mph winds. In this video I explain how I dress for a ride when the temps are between 50-60F. This is optimal temp range for exposed knees and embrocation and for that my go-to choice is Mad Alchemy Russian Tea embro. Let me know your preferred wardrobe choices in the comments below!

Core: base layer +long sleeves. Not thermal
Arms: arm warmers if not wearing long sleeves
Head: cycling cap or gaiter underneath helmet
Hands: long finger gloves
Feet: toe covers optional
