Flood Escape 2: Desert Ruins, Active Volcanic Mines, and Mars Stations (Feb 2023 Monthly Highlights)

desert ruins isnt the best map of its kind. i believe there are a few better choices ❄️❄️🌨️ /🚽💩👶🏻🔵for harder maps to get in game/highlighted but desert ruins is still pretty enjoyable for more skilled players and its somewhat nice to see something like it get in game, even if it's not permanent.

active volcanic mines is a pretty good map i guess, a nice middle ground between basic fe2 crazy maps and more advanced maps. ost kinda carries tho

mars stations is just more of the same. nothing inherently wrong with it but i cant like it when it's just like everything else. my issue with noomlek maps is that none of them are able to be unique enough from each other, they all just feel the exact same in terms of level routing and gameplay choices. also getting tired of the standard of crazy maps all being around the same easy difficulty as blue moon or poisonous chasm, mars station falls to this same trope which is why desert ruins and avm are pretty refreshing to see, especially desert ruins though

i hope harder maps can get added permanently and not just for monthly highlights because this is a step in the right direction
