Rainbow E2 Gold Canister Vacuum

Описание к видео Rainbow E2 Gold Canister Vacuum

Happy Holidays Everyone! Here I'm showing is one of my Aunt's vacuums that she owns. Now this wasn't technically filmed at her house, it may look like it but this was actually shot in my basement. Usually I would show vacuums in that one room I normally do but there may be times where I would film vacuums in my basement. Anyways while I was visiting at my Grandpa's on Thanksgiving, my Aunt brought this down for me to take back home because the trigger on the handle was broken but it was still getting power through the power nozzle so it wouldn't shut off while you're using it. I was going to deal with this myself but I haven't had the time to mess with it and I had to order the part that I needed for this. So I took this in to "Great Vacs" because they had the part I needed to get and I happen to live very close by to them. They went ahead and serviced this completely, replaced the trigger, put a new washable filter on, new belt, new water basin, new gaskets, and swapped the brushroll. Costed me like $70 but the belt, water basin, gaskets, and brushroll was no charge which was a steal in my opinion if you ask me. Other than that, this runs excellent! To be quite honest here, this was the very first time that I've ever seen her Rainbow in person. I've never been to her house before but she has brought back some of her other vacuums to me before such as servicing her Shark and Bissell's, and she gave me her old Hoover Steamvac a long time ago. I ended up getting rid of that one because of the lack of parts that it needed but I later regretted it and thankfully I found another one at my local thrift store. So back to this. This was bought new from a Rainbow salesperson from either like in 2004 or 05 I'm assuming. It didn't come with any other accessories with this like the shampooer as far as I'm aware of but she did pay like over $2000 for this. When she was bringing this over to me, I asked if she could bring everything that it ever came with it because I wanted to show the best that I could on camera so this was all that I could show. She couldn't find any other attachments with this but she did later found the manuals and the oils that are used for this. This did had an info sticker on the unit but unfortunately it came off, at least you can still see the serial number on this. Overall, she likes this vacuum but she doesn't use it much any more. Some of the things that she doesn't like about this is that it's heavy for her and it's alot of work to use. She now mostly uses this for just sucking up water from her basement. Now, I like Rainbows but I don't love them. Alot of people claim that these are the best vacuums ever but the problems that I don't like about these is that they are awkward to use and they do get annoying overtime. It's not just Rainbow but also other water filtration canisters as well. Plus not to mention that I would never buy from door-to-door and most people including my Aunt would stop using these after for about 5-10 years. For those that have been around with me for a long time, they would know that I usually don't care about canisters including these. In my opinion, I would say that these are good vacuums but I've used better. If you want a Rainbow, try to buy one refurbished from either "Great Vacs" or "Good Vac". But if you want something that works even better than Rainbow or any other water filtration vacuums on the market, look into Aqua-Air Central Vacuums https://aquaair-wetdry.com/ Overall, this is still a good vacuum. Power suction, decent airflow, great agitation on carpets, US made and good filtration. Not the very best at filtration but they're still better than most vacuums on the market. Out of all the Rainbows that they've made, this is one of my favorites of all time! More powerful than previous models, I like that these power heads uses a manual height adjuster, and I really like the gold decals the best. Only downfall is that I hate the noise on these brushless motors.

Hope you enjoyed!
