Today's episode is a presentation given by Alex Halls on his paper for the 80th Anniversary of the Plymouth Blitz.

The paper, entitled- The Bomber Always gets Through: The Policy of Aerial Bombardment during the Second World War, covers the origins of strategic bombing, from the First World War through the inter-war period, to the early stages of the bombing war during the Battle of Britain and British Blitz, and finally culminating with the policy falling out of favour after the bombing of Dresden in February 1945.

The video also includes live questions and answers asked on the night of 17th March 2021.
