I've always wanted to find an old olivewood tree trunk. Fortunately for me, someone cut down this tree and left it. Olive wood is absolutely beautiful. Also a very hard material, perfect for all kinds of crafts. It can be used for all sorts of things. This kind of wood is very hard to come by. It takes hundreds of years for an olive tree to grow this big. Also, it is illegal to cut down these trees in many places. It is possible to buy old olivewood in some places, but it would cost a fortune. Buying a chainsaw is a small sum in comparison. So it's totally worth it. I even bought some epoxy resin to fill in the holes and cracks. This opens so many options for me. I am definitely going to have a great time with it. So stay tuned.
