Its not often Craig turns his hand to a craft project, but today we have the first of two bottle cutting videos... In this video, we use a cheap £20 ($25) bottle cutter to get some amazing results!

We start with a very new bottle - its thin glass should be easy... we move on to progressively older and thicker bottles until we get to a 6mm - is this too much for our budget bottle cutter! Nope! Its so satisfying to see these damaged bottles take on new life - one bottle was so badly damaged that we thought it could not be saved - we love the idea of Wabi Sabi, the beauty in the broken and partial, and today is a great example of that... taking the broken, making it even more partial to reveal its new found beauty!

We show you how to grind and polish the sharp edges to a smooth finish so that these cuts can be used in various ways!

In Video #2, Craig is going to cut a Codd bottle - WOW its around 1cm thick! So we turn, once again, to the Dremel and a diamond cutting disk - we've jumped ahead and cut a few of these last week so that we can make them available in our ETSY shop - please do pop by to support the channel!! Thank you so much!

We hope you enjoyed today's video...
