During one of our tours to visit our partners camp, we arrived at Entamanu Ngorongoro Camp later in the afternoon.

The camp is located on the crater edge with a stunning and unique view on the Ngorongoro crater in a beautiful forest where it is not unusual to meet a herd of giraffe around the camp (we had one in front of our tent in the evening).

The camp has only seven tents , a central lobby with bar, dining room and and a living room. The terrace overlooks the crater looking toward east, which means you will have a great sunrise just in front of you.

After a warm welcome from the camp manager, we were accompanied to our tent. We received the family tente, having two large bedrooms and a central common bathroom. From the tent veranda you have the best crater view. The climate is chilly. Remember that you are above 2'400 m above sea level.

Definitely a place to stay, ideally during the green or low season to see more animals and less jeeps in the crater.
