Dee Dee just got married and she talks about her exciting new life as well as the impact it will have on her life and her teammates being the first Ram player to tie the proverbial knot.

Dee Dee is known as a three level scorer.

Dee Dee admits she is still working on improving her 3 point shot.

She is a four year standout and two-time All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference selection with the Jaspers.

Davis, a three-level scorer who averaged 15.4 ppg a remarkable 7.5 rebounds and 2.9 APG her senior season.

Davis finished her career with over 1500 points, 500 rebounds, 248 assists, and 193 steals.

In her freshman year she averaged 9 pts and 3 rebounds per game.

Dee Dee explained how a 5-8 guard can average nearly 8 rebounds a game by saying that she is desperate and it’s a matter of who wants it more as well as having a nose for the ball.

Davis also said she has a will to jump through the roof.

In every season Davis has statistically improved her game.

Dee Dee talks about the importance of being positive and talked about how she “Zooms Out.” Davis explains that when she Zooms Out it is never as bad as what you think it is by saying that there are people on their death bed.

Davis talks about this year’s Manhattan team that miraculously snuck into the MAAC finals for the second consecutive year.

Davis talked about the difficulties recovering from two major knee surgeries in both knees in her career. First in the Summer of her junior year in high school.

Before Davis’ injury she received an offer from URI. After the injury Davis stopped getting offers and Rhody rescinded their offer.

Dee Dee remembers crying so hard when she received the news.

Davis outlined all the reasons she wanted to attend and play at URI.

Davis reinvented herself her high school senior year and her coach begged Manhattan to take her. She was accepted and won Rookie of the Year.

Then Davis tore her other ACL a couple of games before her freshman year ended and she was in disbelief.

Davis faith helped her prevail. During the Summer she also met her soon to be wife.

Despite her injury Manhattan Coach V stuck by her side one more time and kept her on the team.

Dee Dee is amazed how she came back from those injuries to have such a successful career. Now Dee Dee always wears her protective gear.

Davis revealed that women are 6x more likely to tear their ACL due to the way their hips are aligned.

Dee Dee says she is a better person after recovering from her injuries.

Davis plays with a chip on her shoulder and never takes a practice off because it may be her last.

Dee Dee was also afraid as being labeled as injury prone.

Believe it or not Davis is grateful for her knee injury and she would do it all over again.

Dee Dee was recruited by Clemson and St. John’s in the transfer portal.
