Halt the Harm held a special sneak peek premiere of Fracking the System on June 29th, 2023. This is a recording of a discussion with the filmmakers, Brian Hedden and Jessica Daugherty, and activist Patricia Garcia Nelson that took place after the screening.

Brian, Jessica, and Patricia answered questions from Halt the Harm members about the harrowing story behind the documentary, what's happened since the events of the film, and the state of the movement to halt the harms of oil & gas in Colorado.

The film will be available to the public in the fall.

About the film:
Fracking the System is a thrilling political documentary about environmental racism and political sabotage from the front lines of climate activism. The film tells the story of one Colorado community’s tumultuous ten-year journey to protect themselves from the impacts of fracking and the hard-fought campaign by activists to push back against fracking through a 2018 statewide ballot initiative.
