Maia Jeffries (Anna Julienne) and Jay Copeland’s (Jaime Passier-Armstrong) civil union in 2006 provided a Ferndale first. Their very romantic (and very pink) ceremony was held in Parnell’s Rose Garden. Their union was picketed by Serenity Church protestors, but even that failed to put a damper on the pair’s special day.
