Reflections on Death and Karma–
The Reality of Impermanence: Triggered by the news of "Ajit Dada's" passing, Gurudec reflects on the finality of death. He emphasizes that while one can have partners in business, happiness, and sorrow, there are no partners in Karma; individuals must face the consequences of their actions alone.
The Unavoidable Schedule:Unlike daily tasks or meetings which can be postponed/rescheduled, death has no schedule and cannot be delayed. Gurudev questions whether listeners have prepared their "inner light" for the dark tunnel of death,.
Time vs. Understanding: Gurudev discusses the value of punctuality and wisdom ("Samajh"). He notes that while time ("Samay") is infinite, it is useless without understanding. With wisdom, even a moment becomes a pearl; without it, a pearl becomes a mere drop of dew.
*The Parable of Jambu Kumar–
Renunciation: Gurudev narrates the story of Jambu Kumar, who, despite being engaged to eight women, decides to renounce the world after seeing Gandhar Sudharma Swami.
The Falling Rock: Just before entering his home, Jambu Kumar witnesses a rock fall where he had stood moments prior. This near-death experience solidifies his resolve, realizing that had he died then, his spiritual aspirations would have remained unfulfilled.
Steadfastness: Despite pressure from his parents and the parents of his eight fiancées, Jambu Kumar takes the vow of celibacy immediately. The eight women, inspired by his resolve, refuse to break their engagement and choose to take Diksha (initiation) alongside him,.
Mass Transformation: The narrative concludes with 500 thieves (who came to rob the house) and the families of the couple also undergoing a change of heart, leading to 527 people taking initiation together,.
2026 Chaturmas: The 2026 Chaturmas (monsoon retreat) will be held in the Ahmednagar district, with a goal of completing 2,500 "Athai" (eight-day fasts).
Mahavir Katha: is scheduled for Shrirampur from March 23rd to March 31st.
