The moment has arrived. If you would have told me last year that in about a year I would release my first own written song I would never have believed you. I'm always busy and normally I play 8 shows a week. I never took the time to try out whether writing and composing was for me. BUT.. then Corona came.... I suddenly had a lot of time. Last summer I started writing at my piano and the words and melodies flowed into my first song: “From a Distance”. I had discovered a new passion. I can speak my heart in writing and composing music. Now I'm working on writing more songs & I can already tell you!! the next song is coming soon!! what an adventure! I think this is fantastic. Little bio:
The Dutch singer/songwriter Nienke Latten was born and raised in the Netherlands. The 25-year-old has played the leading role in several musical productions and is currently playing Jasmin in Disney's Aladdin. Recently she started writing her own songs, the first of which is available right now and is called From a Distance. This is a song about risking everything for true love. Now that her first solo-single is released, more songs will follow soon.
