Classical Conversations Setting up the Essentials Curriculum

Описание к видео Classical Conversations Setting up the Essentials Curriculum

Sharing a super simple way to get set up with CC's Essentials Curriculum. Not offering a lot of "copy this, copy that, move this here and that there". Trying to set you up in as simple a way as possible as you get started for the first time. Also includes a brief overview of how to use the curriculum and I show the IEW (writing) curriculum things and how to use those.

A couple of notes:

1) Do NOT have your student write in the Essentials curriculum. If there’s a page you’d like your student to write on (there will be many!) that’s your indication to decide whether to put in a sheet protector/laminate for use with a dry erase pen or make a copy. If the page will be used repeatedly, sheet protector/laminate may be your better option. Feel free to make notes in the curriculum for yourself though.

2) Download a digital copy of the Student packet to easily print off blank charts and the editing pages HERE- https://ccconnected.com/learning/lear...

3) CC's Essentials e-zine "Onward" contains awesome things for each week, including sample checklists, filled out charts, and extra practice. Check out Week 1's issue of Onward and print what you like! https://ccconnected.com/learning/lear...

4) DO write in your IEW materials. You and your student. Make notes in your Teaching Writing Structure & Style notebook & History Based Writing Lesson Teacher’s Manual and plan to have your student write in their Student Book a lot as you follow the curriculum.
