The Thorn Armor Set is one of the strongest normal armor sets you can get in-game after the Nuclear Winter DLC came live to Fallout 76. You can get the Thorn Plans from Vault 94 mission rewards. You will need 10 different materials to craft a full Thorn Armor Set, including Vault 94 Steel and Legendary Modules from the Purveyor. Now, when you craft Thorn pieces they will always come out as 3 stars legendary items with randomized legendary effects (excluding a select few like Unyielding & Chameleon). The Thorn Armor Set is equivalent to the Forest Scout Armor in terms of general appearance and defense attributes. It also provides 3 unique set bonuses, such as increased sneak, bleed debuff to melee attackers and bleed debuff when attacking enemies with melee weapons.
