10/2/15 - A Union Pacific SD70ACe leads intermodal 212 east past the Reading Company train station in Wernersville amidst a downpour.

10/20/15 - At sunset, 15T meets 20K at PRESCOTT. A local in the block ahead forces 15T to wait until the opposite track is clear so he can proceed west after crossing over. Notice the Limited Clear signal at 3:20, which Red over Flashing Green indicate a Clear crossover move at Limited Speed (40 MPH). The low fall sun glints off of the rails and trailers on 20K, and sinks just below the horizon as 15T begins to pull.

10/26/15 - The horn can be heard blowing for a crossing in the distance before westbound loaded ballast train 926 storms around the curve at the former site of the Brickplant in Newmanstown. It's pretty late in the year for a railroad ballast train, but the mild weather must have kept the demand active.

10/27/15 - The Wabash Heritage Unit leads loaded oil extra Z6Z, crossing from Main 2 to 1 at DORF alongside some excellent fall colors.

10/29/15 - Slowing down for a stop at DORF to meet 23M, 262 glides past the iconic farm at Newmanstown; this would be one of the last roadrailers before Triple Crown Service was suspended indefinitely in the middle of November 2015.

Without much time to reposition the camera, 23M roars west under a rather dramatic overcast sky. The Interstate Heritage unit also adds some color to the already peaking foliage.

10/31/15 - Loaded ethanol train 64T drops under some foliage at the Weavertown Road overpass.

That evening, the sun ducks into the haze as we watch ethanol empties 65T from afar to take in the rural farm scenery Lebanon County truly has to offer...plus I couldn't pass on some bright red foliage to frame the scene!

11/5/15 - A cut of coal cars heads westbound by some grazing cattle. These coal loads are headed west to the quarry in Annville to be used in the furnaces.

11/7/15 - Power plant coal empties 507 passes the Reading Station in Palmyra, which now serves as a model train shop.

11/11/15 - Mixed freight 19G heads west through Richland with the remains of falls glory scattered across the ground.

11/22/15 - With the short days of winter among us, 66Z Phillips 66 oil loads roar through PRESCOTT as the train throttles up to track speed (from 40 to 50 MPH) after leaving the Lebanon City limits. The SD40-2 leader was added in front of the UP locomotives for cab signals across the Pittsburgh Line.
