Veronica Lake, born Constance Frances Marie Ockelman on 14th November 1922, was an iconic American actress. She rose to fame in the 1940s for her sultry beauty, peek-a-boo hairstyle, and captivating performances in film noir classics such as "This Gun for Hire", "The Glass Key", and "The Blue Dahlia". Her trademark blonde locks, draped seductively over one eye, became her signature look, inspiring countless imitations.
