The problem that we targeted with this project was in regard to visually impaired users of online dating apps. They are excluded by mainstream online dating apps, which focus on visual content. Thus our goal in this project was to design a product that visually impaired users can easily benefit from, with minimum external help.
We propose a design aimed at changing the main interaction style of online dating apps, by focusing on audio-based content and interaction. We also tried to make interaction engaging through gamification. Considering that we wanted every one either they are visually impaired or not to get engaged with our app.
To design the detailed features of this application, we went through different steps. we started with some research to understand users' needs, then we did benchmark on the existing app to understand their limitations and benefits. After going through brainstorming and testing different ideas, we designed our new product in terms of UX and UI and then make a financial plan for it. In the end, we also considered the limitation that our app might have.
