Grow Sapodilla / Sapote / Chikoo From Seeds: Manilkara Zapota

I tested four methods of germinating Sapodilla seeds. This is the method that worked best for me yielding the quickest germination combined with the highest success rate. Please leave a comment below describing what worked best for you! (चीकू के बीज उगाएं)

01:01 - Germinate seeds in moist paper towel
01:29 - Plant in starter pots
01:50 - Results!

Other methods and results:
Scarified seeds soaked over-night and planted in soil: slower germination time, and lower germination rate
Seed removed from hull and planted directly in soil: seeds did NOT germinate
Control group. Seeds planted directly in soil without soaking or scarifying: slower germination time, and lower success rate, but the easiest method if you are willing to accept the trade-off!
