I've been to the Cresselly Arms (a quirky pub which wouldn't look out of place in the 1930s) a few times always in the car, never by boat as the tide times were never right and it needs a very high tide to get up the river.
I'd planned this trip to Pembrokeshire to coincide with some very favourable high tides .
