Fender Rumble 500 vs Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 & Fender Rumble 210

Описание к видео Fender Rumble 500 vs Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 & Fender Rumble 210

Here's a little shootout between my Fender Rumble 500 combo and Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 w/ Fender Rumble 210 cab.

Both cabs are basically identical, so I figured this would be a good opportunity to hear how they both sound with different preamps. I'm not very good at these sorts of things so I tried to just keep it simple and show how I would compare them myself.

The Fender Rumble 500 is set to the "vintage" voice the entire time to closely compare with the Tone Hammer which is generally vintage voiced.

FYI, I have been a long time user (10 years) of the Fender Rumble series from their v2 210 combo, v2 410 cab, and for the last few years the 500 combo. The tone hammer is a recent purchase since I only ever use the "vintage" voice on the 500 I figured I would like it. Turns out I do 🙌.

I don't know about you, but I find it particularly hard to shop for bass gear - especially amp & cabs - because of the lack of demos. So, I hope this helps someone out there.

Until we meet again, keep those bass faces strong people! ☮️
