Based on a few of your comments, improvements on an older Vue+Laravel demo-project from this Youtube channel: if we're doing multiple API calls in the same event, maybe it's better to use JavaScript promises?

And, if we have a few global variables, maybe it makes sense to use Vuex to store them?
