A quick video update. Apologies for sound quality, filming in portrait etc etc. I had surgery to remove my acoustic neuroma on the 14th of March 2019, not even a week on and I expect to be going home any day now. My outcome was fantastic. The surgeons removed roughly 95% of my 3.5cm + tumour but managed to avoid all the other nerves. I don’t have any facial palsy, or any of the other things that they say can happen. I’ve been incredibly fortunate. Sharing this video as a journal entry, and to hopefully let others know that a positive outcome is possible.
