In this episode, we have Dr Parth Shah - HoD Information Technology - CSPIT, CHARUSAT. Prof. Parth Shah’s research interest include Parallel Computing, Next-generation networks, Advanced Computer Architecture and Cloud Computing. He has published more than 20 papers in Journal and conference proceedings. Currently, he is head of the IT department in CSPIT, CHARUSAT. He has received grants of 134900.00 from GUJCOST, MHRD and CSI.

Dr Parth Shah is a huge advocate of pursuing entrepreneurship and encourages his students towards start-ups and businesses. He urges his students to be innovators and inventors. He believes that young minds have the potential to create something new and contribute to the vision of Digital India. Dr Shah believes that engineers should have logical and analytical skills which they can apply to draw solution to all kinds of problems. In this interview, he also talks about some of the most in-demand IT fields like quantum computing, machine learning, and blockchain development. All these are taught at CHARUSAT with practical applicability. Dr Shah believes that students should learn through practice and experimentation. He assigns projects and allows students to develop their own projects as well in research and practical applications. Many of these researches have been published in international journals. The projects developed by students are submitted in many competitive events. Dr Parth Shah also students to pursue research to gain fundamental knowledge of technical aspects. He believes that such learning enhances the technical as well as the analytical abilities of the students which would further help them in innovation.
