I'm a wife, Mum and disability support worker. I have a BHSc in nutrition/naturopathy. I've been overweight for most of my life due to upbringing, past trauma & genetics, and I'm now in the morbidly obese BMI category. I have autism, ocd, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high inflammation, high platelets, prediabetes, sleep apnoea, chronic fatigue, PCOS, history of abnormal thyroid etc. I've tried many ways to lose weight including willpower/portion control, gentle ways, extreme ways. My health is high risk so I'm on Mounjaro or tirzepatide to treat my obesity related health conditions. I hope you find this helpful or interesting. Currently on 2.5.
