Hiking Twinsburg Ledges & Glacier Cave | Liberty Park | Summit County Metroparks | Twinsburg, OH

Описание к видео Hiking Twinsburg Ledges & Glacier Cave | Liberty Park | Summit County Metroparks | Twinsburg, OH

The Twinsburg Ledges, located in Liberty Park, appear along the 1.1 mile Ledges Trail, which ends at a short spur trail to Glacier Cave. The hike ranges from easy to moderate. Although there are minimal roots, a portion of the trail is off camber and traverses through a moderately rocky section for about a tenth of a mile.

The Twinsburg Ledges are not as big or picturesque as the Ritchie Ledges in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park or Whipps and Wordens Ledges in Hinckley Reservation, yet Glacier Cave alone makes it worth the visit. The spur trail to the cave crosses a small stream and after that it's just a short walk to the cave entrance.

When leaving the spur trail, be sure to take a right on the Ledges Trail, which leads to a boardwalk through a marsh and loops back to the beginning of the Ledges Trail.
