Glasgow Airport, also known as Glasgow International Airport (IATA: GLA, ICAO: EGPF), formerly Abbotsinch Airport, is an international airport in Scotland. It is located in Paisley, Renfrewshire, 8.6 nautical miles (15.9 km; 9.9 mi) west of Glasgow city centre. In 2019, the airport handled 8.84 million passengers, an 8.4% annual decrease, making it the second-busiest in Scotland, after Edinburgh Airport, and the ninth-busiest airport in the United Kingdom.

The airport is owned and operated by AGS Airports which also owns and operates Aberdeen and Southampton airports. It was previously owned and operated by Heathrow Airport Holdings (formerly known as BAA). The airport's largest tenants are easyJet and Loganair. Other major airlines using Glasgow as a base include Jet2.com and TUI Airways.

Glasgow Airport was opened in 1966 and originally flights only operated to other places in the United Kingdom and Europe. Glasgow Airport began to offer flights to other places around the world, flights which previously used Glasgow Prestwick Airport, which was subsequently relegated as the city's secondary airport catering for Ryanair and freight operators.

Glasgow Airport Pick Up & Drop off options
Express Pick Up & Drop Off
Glasgow Airport's Pick up & Drop-off areas are located directly outside the main terminal building in car park 2. So, you can pull up right outside, where you can touch down just long enough to unload luggage. An easy and quick option. This can be a very congested area and is only suited for a conveniently close and quick pick up or drop off.

Pick Up & Drop Off will be charged at £4 to stay for up to 10 minutes from 00:01 on Friday 4th December 2020. Drivers wishing to use parking facilities for more than 10 minutes are advised to use the Short Stay car park.

Passengers with electric vehicles will be able to access the pick-up and drop-off facility directly opposite the terminal free of charge for the first 10 minutes. Electric vehicle users must pre-register for free access for the first 10 minutes here.

If drivers choose to stay in the Express Drop-off for longer than 10 minutes, they will pay a premium charge on exit.
