Sri Sathya Sai Students (Alumni of Sri Sathya Sai Educational Institutions) are organizing an evening program entitled SAMARPAN on the 4th Sunday of every month at SIVAM, Hyderabad. It is about re-living those moments spent with HIM, re-connecting with HIM and soaking in the Divine presence. We have an opportunity to listen to the Leelas of the Lord from the devotees who were blessed with Divine association through “SAMARPAN”

The #136 SAMARPAN is being held at SIVAM on the evening of 28th July 2024. We are truly blessed to have Sri Prasad Katta as the speaker for the day.

Sri Prasad Katta, an alumnus of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Prasanthi Nilayam campus, is one of the blessed students to study in his formative years at the divine Lotus Feet. He is indeed blessed to have his family in Swami’s fold right from his early years. His father late Sri. KRV Subramanyam, was Head of the Department of Botany at KBN college in Vijayawada. Smt Kamala Kumari, his mother, a retired Principal, SRR & CVR Government college at Vijayawada was blessed to be a Balvikas guru and district convener of the EHV program in Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations. They are ardent devotees of Swami and brought up the children in the path of devotion by imparting value lessons from childhood.

Sri Prasad Katta, had grown up in Balvikas since 1977 and later pursued his studies in Swami’s educational institutions at Prasanthi Nilayam from 1981 to 1988. He joined to study Intermediate education and continued his graduation in Arts and completed his post-graduation in Management in the first batch of MBA at Prasanthi Nilayam. He has experienced Swami’s Love and Divine guidance all through his life and lived Swami’s profound message in every aspect of his life. His younger brother, Sri Bhaskar Katta also studied in Prasanthi Nilayam campus from 8th grade till his MBA. Sri Prasad Katta’s professional career started with Tata Consultancy Services and had an exceptional career growth in companies like Ampro products, L’Oreal, Western Union, Optimal Marketing, Xpress Money Services, Wizz Financial and currently with COGOS Technologies at Bangalore. In his career span he worked in countries such as Bangladesh, Nepal, Dubai, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Africa and South Asia.
