When I asked Lori Brewer to do an interview for The Good Agenda, on Anchorage Good News, it was a natural fit. It was probably because of her influence upon my mind that lead me to think of The Good Agenda. I met her in 2006, before I went to UAA. I was interested in writing screen plays and I had heard a true story of how the Municipality of Anchorage was considering outlawing drive-through coffee stands,(and also mobile food trucks). I did some research and ended up interviewing Lori about the series of events that resulted in the demise of that proposed ordinance. While pursuing my Journalism degree at UAA, I took a Film I class, and was able to produce Coffee Babes.* Lori was also a subject for several other class projects, because she does so much good stuff for the Anchorage community. Lori and Bob Brewer's Anchorage-based Caffe D'arte, won the Best Business of the Year honor from the Small Business Administration in 2018.
