Peace & Tranquility Shattered, RS5T Rips Apart Camargo on DREI

A rare situation where I upload a video the same day I filmed it, but I just couldn't wait with this one. DREI 400 made a random run from Tuscola to Charleston, IL today. Leading a hopper and tank car was WAMX 3896. This unit with its ugly synchronous ditchlights is normally equipped with a K3LA and normally I wouldn't bother going after such a move, especially running long hood forward. However, the crew, equally bored with the silly run decided to have some fun, placing a 1970's Leslie RS5T up top. With 140psi of air straight from the main reservoir, the horn shredded the atmosphere with the sounds of 40 years ago. Being an ex-B&O line that went through the mergers forming CSX, R5STs are not new for the town, but they certainly bring back memories to those who grew up along the line.
