I was still able to film trains numerous times throughout August before falling under the weather. My highlights from the month were as follows:

05:46 - recently-overhauled DH 2839 getting a lift to Auckland on Train 234S
11:32 - Triple-headed DLs on Train 334S, lead by DL 9544 (the one with new handrails)
18:29 - DLs 9233 and 9204 leading a rather short Train 334
20:51 - DH 2851 on the industrial branch in Mount Maunganui
23:32 - DL 9711 bringing DSG 3155 back from Kinleith to Mount Maunganui
26:26 - EF 30042 leading the overhead inspection train into Hamilton
