Firstly, Rodriguez sadly passed August 2023 (RIP). Secondly . . . I had to laugh, I said the word 'umm or ahh' 45 times through the intro to this tune. 🙄 Thirdly, to skip my waffling, fast forward to 7:30.
After having played this video back, I thought the preamble more important than the quality of the song itself. I know I could have played and sung it better, but I thought the sentiment expressed (in the intro) was more important than the song itself. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I reckon Rodriguiz would agree with that sentiment. I didn't intend for it to be like this.
PS Sorry 🙏 . . . . . Rodriguez was from Detroit, not Chicago.
